Description:

Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia located in Downers Grove, Illinois. GPN’s brand portfolio consists of – Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, think!, Amazing Grass and SlimFast , each with its own brand essence. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition and lifestyle products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, ready-to-eat drinks and snacks and general health supplements.
We have an amazing role for someone who is passionate about connecting with consumers through media and is interested in nutrition and health and wellness! As a senior manager, you will lead our paid media strategy and tactical activation . You will work closely with brand teams to understand the business needs, and partner with our media agency to lead the day to day activity. You will also get to work hand in hand with the integrated marketing team to ensure the message matches the consumer target and media channel. This is a flexible hybrid role from Downers Grove, IL.
Responsibilities
Be a media expert. Be passionate about the different media channels. Understand the value that different media channels bring to the consumer experience.
Be consumer first. Understand how our core audiences are using different media channels, and nuisances with each. Identify the best places to intercept them, and craft media campaigns around the insights.
Lead the development paid media strategy and tactical plans for channels (i.e. TV, digital video CTV/OLV, paid social, audio, display, search, custom content etc) that drives impact on the business and positive experience for our brands.
Leverage research, data, context and content to create impactful interactions that achieve brand goals.
Translate core target to media strategic targets to buying sub targets. Ensure we’re applying data correctly to reach the most relevant consumers. Tailor our messaging or call to action based on the targeting inputs.
Lead the media agencies day to day to bring the campaigns to life through flawless execution. Be thought with what we’re staying to consumers, where we’re saying it, and how we’ll track performance. Move through each process from campaign kick off to launch, gaining alignment for key stakeholders along the way.
Analyze media effectiveness and productivity to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency in media plans; directs optimizations to plans to drive continuous improvement
Test and learn. Continuously test and learn, gather learnings and share results across portfolio and brands.
Lead our affiliate programs to help encourage partners to promote out brands. Create the strategy and activation to help consumers convert.
Interact with agencies and media suppliers on a regular basis to ensure best thinking is brought to GPN
Create best practices for building brands and capturing demand. Share learnings across portfolio.
Build relationships with key internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors.
Education/Experience
4 year -BA/BS degree required in a marketing or business related field.
Eight plus in a relevant role demonstrated experience
Industry experience in CPG and/or agency
Well versed in digital, social, traditional, and programmatic media
