ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Engineering Manager to join our Platform Engineering org to lead multiple teams including core foundation services, mobile and web platform teams. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to leverage your extensive leadership and technical expertise to spearhead the development and delivery of reliable, performant, and scalable services and reusable frameworks for our foundational services, web and mobile clients.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned software engineering leader to spearhead the vision, strategy, and direction of our platform engineering teams. By driving innovation across the organization, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology landscape.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in an engineering management role leading multiple teams..
• Demonstrated leadership in leading full stack development teams across at least two focus areas, such as backend (preferably Java), Web (Angular), and mobile (iOS).
• Background as a software engineer, with a track record of architecting and developing consumer facing SaaS products.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset and ability to independently drive and implement new concepts and ideas.
• Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous.
