EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in business transformation, integration responsibilities.
  • Previous project management/client interface experience required.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting required.
  • Pharmaceutical or Contract Manufacturing industry experienced preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light physical effort and fatigue. Walks, sits, or stands for limited periods. May require occasional equipment operation including keyboard equipment. Lifts light items for limited duration. Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights. Use of Personal Protective equipment may be required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator occasionally

Responsibilities:

  • Define, maintain, and implement project management methodology, including processes, tools, metrics and polices to ensure efficiency, quality and business success.
  • Build the organization to provide Program Management services, accountable to ensure that programs/projects are delivered on time, meeting commercial steady state criteria.
  • Lead the organization with a customer-first demeanor and effective communications.
  • Design and implement the operating cadence, including running coordination meetings, project updates, and overall oversight of programs.
  • Drive cross-functional planning and effective execution through the development and monitoring of fully integrated, project specific timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure programs are staffed with the right personnel with vital skills, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
  • Forge tight partnerships with cross-functional leaders and complete activities in a productive and collaborative setting.
  • Define and analyze metrics that form the foundation of world-class execution and ensure the success of project delivery.
  • Implement process to pro-actively identify and resolve risks and dependencies that could prevent successful program execution.
  • Promote a safe working environment, report potential hazards, and ensure all direct reports follow Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Work with and advise colleagues on administrative policies and procedures.
