Description:

We are seeking a professional with deep expertise in the Europe business reporting area for the TRANS4RM Rollout in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible to ensure our Europe business operational reports scope is implemented in the future systems set up and assume accountability for identifying and bridging gaps between the current reporting landscape and the future TRANS4RM operational template in close alignment with Global & Local DNA team. Your leadership will be crucial for the harmonization, standardization, and enhancement of additional digital possibilities within the future Europe reporting capabilities across all three TRANS4RM workstreams.
The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of how reports function throughout the European organization with a deep understanding of business processes within the Europe functions and geographies. Your analytical skills should support in identifying similarities and gaps between the current ‘as-is’ reports need and the envisioned ‘to-be’ set up, enabling effective collaboration with relevant experts and seeking their input efficiently. This skill set is fundamental for steering effective decision-making and ensuring the successful implementation of TRANS4RM.
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The TRANS4RM program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies, including data driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. With the TRANS4RM Business Transformation we are creating the digital foundation from which we will deliver a premium customer and consumer experience across all channels (Wholesale, Retail, eCom). This role will assess the reporting impact of those TRANS4RM changes, consolidating reporting needs, standardizing data usage, managing change, ensuring transparency, establishing frameworks, streamlining demand for analytics tools, and supporting business teams in adjusting applications. In summary, this role plays a pivotal role in ensure future proof data utilization and decision-making across the organization in Europe.

Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the to-be reporting options, identifying market-specific reporting gaps vs operational requirements and business needs.
  • Ensure that business objectives and critical needs are fully supported and harmonized with the future reporting set up for Europe.
  • Facilitate development of workstream-related reporting objectives by the workstream teams, detailed scope breakdown structures, and precise KPIs in collaboration with workstream Change & PMO leads.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback on reporting for business operations and assess the impact of market reports due to the change TRANS4RM brings.
  • Engage and consult with local subject matter experts and key users across all EU organization and geographies to ensure the future reporting offer will cover business needs.
  • Lead harmonization and standardization for the future reporting set up in Europe in alignment with the Global DNA team.
  • Anticipate potential process break in business reporting and develop proactive strategies for mitigation. Collaborate with relevant department to design and implement temporary solutions where needed.
  • Identify & specify consolidation needs due to phased (bucketed approach) in alignment with key stakeholders - e.g. country mapping based on sold for EU Analytics
  • Drive change management towards end users, also with regards to concept changes due to new source (e.g. stock logic at source might change, needs to be reflected in analytics)
  • Drive communication and create transparency to analytics community on data source changes, status of TRANS4RM as per bucket and dependencies.
  • Consolidate and streamline EU market demand towards SAC/ Fiori and D&A Platform streams with regards to TRANS4RM
  • Provide support to business teams on how applications need to be adjusted (build/ implementation of change in Frontend/ PowerBI application)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of current Europe reporting needs and set up, strong expertise in gap analysis.

  • mastering old and new tech stack (DW / Exasol / MSTR vs. Databricks / Power BI)

  • experience across analytics disciplines (operational, business intelligence, ad-hoc, advanced analytics)
  • experience across functions impacted (SCM, Commercial, Finance, etc.)

Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related areas.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience with experience in process management or process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy and Power BI
  • Deep understanding of the Market Europe organization
  • Experience in project management, objective definition and KPI development.
  • Experience in process harmonization and improvement.
