QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of software development management experience.
• Experience with modern object-oriented programming languages (C#.NET or Java preferred).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, operations, and systems architecture.
• Strong experience with agile principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to facilitate team efforts during incidents.
• Experience with change management and incident management.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with leadership and customers.

The Senior Manager, Software Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software applications for Medical Education using a variety of technologies. Key responsibilities include facilitating communication among developers and other leaders, fostering leadership and mentorship both within the team and among peers, removing impediments, as well as providing feedback and encouraging skill development with teams and peers. This position will partner with other leaders and functional areas in the organization to coordinate, set priorities and optimize processes.
