Description:
Your Role
As Senior Manager Strategy and CEO Office of the ZEISS segment Consumer Markets, you will be responsible for a challenging range of duties, working closely with the CEO and Head of Strategy. Responsibilities comprise managing and implementing projects, developing concepts for critical areas of business development, leading interdisciplinarity teams, and preparing strategic decisions for the Management Board. You will immerse yourself in a challenging environment, contribute to strategic development, and build a comprehensive internal network—setting the foundation for outstanding international career opportunities within ZEISS.
Tasks:
- Assist the CEO in a wide variety of tasks, such as organizing Board meetings, Board offsites, and internal communications
- Conduct research and strategic analysis to produce helpful data and generate insightful information to support key decision-making
- Manage and implement key strategic projects (e.g., business development, investments/M&A, organizational development)
- Lead interdisciplinary teams from all parts of the organization
- Prepare strategic decisions and Management Board resolutions
- Build a strong global network across ZEISS Group and set the foundation for an outstanding career path
Your Profile
- A degree in business and/or technical studies from a university with outstanding results, preferably a master’s degree, MBA, or doctorate
- 3-5 years of work experience at a leading strategy consultancy
- Proven success in lateral leadership of large and interdisciplinary teams and responsibility for complex projects
- The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong analytical and project management abilities, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments
- Commitment, social competence, and entrepreneurial thinking to motivate and inspire others, and to further develop the ZEISS Group
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience abroad
