Responsibilities:
- Develop, administer, and manage the Traceability Program, processes, reporting, and tools to continuously improve traceability requirements and requirements adoption by every level of the supply chain
- Act as primary liaison with standards-setting entity GS1, and lead RFID compliance with external suppliers.
- Analyzes and recommends solutions that potentially save Chipotle in the millions of dollars of year through multi-echelon network optimization, warehouse placement, shipping methodologies, and location based planning. Creates simple and effective visual dashboards for end users to drive business reviews and demonstrate results/trends/impacts
- Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning and delegating work to expert users in the process. Appraising performance, enabling employee growth, learning, and development of the supply chain are essential.
- Support business reporting and tech development through analyzing and developing user requirements, product testing and management, close communication with stakeholders, and KPI/reporting. Develops and owns technology roadmap for supply chain.
- Will select and drive implementation of network modeling tools to increase supply chain effectiveness, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Will establish processes, in concert with IT, to monitor supply chain background jobs and rules for addressing failures requiring support from various tech/BI teams
- Is the primary expert for all supply chain systems, keeping softwares current and designing test routines for regular upgrades.
- Works with any consultant teams for project management, integration into CMG business, systems, etc
- Responsible for product management, configuration, and maintenance of online supplier management platform
- Supplier optimization, development of procure to pay philosophies, supplier capacity management tool development and other upstream strategies to maximize capacity and minimize cost
- Supplier knowledge of master data management will fortify Chipotle’s data integrity, housing, management, and accuracy.This will drive enhanced reporting capabilities and real time understanding of supply chain health, as well as proactive and advanced ability to respond to situations in advance of negative impacts.
- Supports and identifies continuous improvement opportunities to enable Logistics to provide ultimate levels of service to restaurants for food, packaging, and RFID capabilities.
- Travel as required to ensure external partner compliance.
