Job Description :

TDS Surveillance & Supervision Platform manages regulatory and compliance initiatives such as Communications Surveillance, Trade Surveillance, Records Management, Anti-Money Laundering, Case Management and Personal Trade Surveillance and Employee Core Compliance initiatives. As Senior Manager, you will lead a team of Project Manager(s) and/or Business Analysts to oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple workstreams while ensuring that all changes adhere to the approved change governance standards. As a Senior Manager you can expect to:

• Be a trusted partner who is considered the first point of contact for the Executive Managing Directors to drive business growth and solve problems.
• Leverage deep domain and delivery experience and well-established senior relationships to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Have an expert ability to influence partners towards solutions while ensuring appropriate transparency, reporting and escalation.
• Have experience with project delivery ownership through leading streams and/or representing a business in a large program.
• Set strategy for capability creation that enables business value. Can determine and articulate holistic benefits and risks of investment.
• Demonstrate excellent judgement with speed and integrity to drive results for the customer and shareholder within strategy and risk appetite.
• Have an advanced ability to energize and inspire others and implement new ideas and methods, championing transformational change
• Stay energized, productive and focused in the face of challenges, ambiguity, change or strenuous demands.
• Manages projects with moderate to high regulatory oversight.
• Ensures end-to-end delivery of programs and initiatives Tier 1 - 3 (make-it-happen) .
• Production of a delivery operating model, inclusive of an end-to-end product roadmap, to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability for locally owned projects .
• Responsible for adhering to all delivery and governance policies, procedure, and framework in both PDLC and Agile approaches.
• End to end delivery ownership of projects includes timelines, budget, cost governance, and reporting.
• Responsible to managing top-down communication from Senior Executives to all other stakeholders in timely manner.
• Collaborate with project partners to align plans, timelines, expectations, and deliverables to meet project objectives.
• Escalate timely and when necessary to bring resolutions and report project health status.
• Lead teams through adversity to execute with excellence.
• Manage a team comprised of delivery professionals such as delivery managers, scrum masters and business/QA analysis.
• Accountable for challenging program estimates and supporting the team in removing any roadblocks during the estimation process, in alignment with the Estimation Framework
• Ensure initiatives are delivered based on agreed scope, agreed timeline and approved budget
• Establishes program governance structures for effective delivery orchestration, meeting TD’s governance control objectives.
• Responsible for executing local projects across all domains to meet the stated success criteria and product value realization, with explicit consideration to business process, change impacts and the transition from delivery to business as usual.
• Establishes and manages resource plan, issues, risks and financial plans
• Create and maintain comprehensive delivery management artifacts as required by governance standards.
• Coordinates with the respective enterprise control partners (e.g., EPDE, Strategic Sourcing Group, Legal, TRMIS, OCDO. etc.) to appropriately select, engage and manage external service providers as required.
• Builds and leads a large diverse business team to effectively deliver productivity, quality, and innovation.
• Manage initiatives through to completion including Planning, Execution, Control and Closure of initiatives.

Job Requirements :

• Outstanding record of delivery success, preferably in Capital Markets, in a large, matrixed, complex organization.
• Advanced understanding of the current compliance and regulatory landscape and their impact on the employees and dealers.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for tracking tasks and managing documents.
• Establish and maintain full requirements traceability and work with the business to prioritize requirements and scope changes to ensure business needs are met.
• Proven record of engaging and collaborating effectively with risk and control partners to mitigate change risks.
• Familiarity with risk and operational concepts obtained through previous experience in a capital markets function.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to senior and executive audiences.
• Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate delivery risk.
• Superior inter-personal skills including conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation.
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse, high performing teams.
• Team player with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Superior organizational skills – must be able to identify and track project dependencies & blockers, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, document meeting minutes and takeaways in a clear and concise manner.
• Manage project funding gating process, project financials and benefits realization.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (Alteryx, UiPath) would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and handle time effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous, or changing conditions.
• Ability to make business decisions based upon sound judgement
• Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate delivery risk.
• Superior inter-personal skills including conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation
• Ability to lead organizational change management activities on a project.
• Flexibility to adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous, or changing conditions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make business decisions based upon sound judgement to determine which issues to escalate vs. to resolve independently, and provide suggestions for possible resolution.
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent initiatives as and when required.

Specific Education Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSP designation preferred
• Certified Agile Coach or Scrum Master is an asset
