Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As our new Sustainability Action Programmes Manager, you will become part of Ramboll’s Corporate Function and Centre of Excellence for Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility. You will direct and lead the implementation of Ramboll’s Corporate Sustainability Action Programmes. In particular, you will establish our Nature Impact Programme and be the driving force behind its successful implementation.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing oversight of the successful implementation of Ramboll’s Sustainability Action Programmes to meet external commitments and strategy KPIs
  • Leading the development and implementation of Ramboll’s Nature Action Programme, addressing key external requirements (CSRD, TNFD, science-based targeting) and driving internal projects as part of Ramboll’s Impact and Responsibility programmes
  • Working collaboratively with our existing Climate Action Programme Lead, to provide technical input and support to climate programme activities where this is required
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues leading our volunteering programme Flourish to further develop our Social Impact Programme, and support its successful implementation
  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise on environmental sustainability topics as a key topic leader in Ramboll’s Centre of Excellence for Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility and to act as sustainability partner to key implementation and disclosure initiatives

  • A proven track record and expertise in developing and delivering targeted environmental and sustainability routemaps, strategies and action plans either in a corporate function role or in a consultant or advisory role
  • A subject matter expert in environmental sustainability, particularly relating to nature and climate impact, with excellent knowledge of existing and emerging policy, regulation, latest practice, and performance and disclosure requirements
  • A confident communicator with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders from across the business, including senior leadership, to drive project implementation and change
  • Ability to lead individual projects whilst being conscious of how they contribute to wider business strategy goals and outcomes
  • Masters-level qualification in a sustainability-related discipline or equivalent delivery experienc
