Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
As Senior Manager, Technology Performance & Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the strategy for the Technology function, in alignment with the broader QBE and Technology Services strategies, and track implementation
- Develop KPIs and targets and produce metrics in support of measuring performance
- Analyse performance results to identify trends and opportunities for continual improvement
- Manage and track IT Divisional Objectives, Performance and key target measures
- Develop and manage IT Board Papers, Executive Management (EMB) Papers and Reporting
- Develop and manage Regulatory, Compliance and Risk Reporting
- Prepare IT Executive Communications (Group Executive, Townhalls, Presentations)
- Support workforce planning for AUSPAC technology through reconciliation and reporting
- Coordinate: response to Customer Satisfaction surveys and corresponding action plans
To be successful in this role you will have a background in Technology, Insurance or Financial Services, with a working knowledge of regulatory style reporting, APRA and risk frameworks. You will also have:
- Proven skills in Board communications and Operational Reporting within a tech space
- Previous exposure to an Executive Leadership team, with the ability to communicate and write reports in their style
- Strong communications skills, paired with Tech skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a complex changing environment
- Advanced working knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
- Advanced working knowledge of operational efficiency principals and best practice
