Description:

The Risk Management team at National Bank is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced person to play a key role as Senior Manager – Technology and Cyber Risk Management for business lines. In this role, which combines team management skills and extensive expertise in cybersecurity and technology, you’ll actively contribute to the Bank’s transformation by ensuring the effective oversight of practices and processes to foster sound technology and cyber risk management.
You could be the right professional for this high-profile position if you combine risk management skills with considerable expertise in one or more of the following areas: solutions architecture, Cloud AWS/Azure platform, software development, CI/CD, API, DevSecOps, large-scale transformation projects, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), DR, resilience, networks and AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team responsible for conducting due diligence on the technological and cyber risk assessments of projects, products and business lines, carried out by the 1LOD and service providers involved in the development of our projects or products.
  • Manage relationships with business lines and build trust by positioning yourself as an expert advisor on technology and cyber risk management topics, as well as on technical fields
  • Train and raise awareness among stakeholders in business lines and IT to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and applications, as well as the compliance with technology and cyber risk management standards.
  • Oversee the definition and resolution of action plans and exemptions related to assessments
  • Continually manage the development of technology and cyber risk management practices and assessment tools
  • Actively participate in the change management and communication strategy for any changes to technology and cyber risk management processes
  • Ensure the consistency of technology and cybersecurity risk assessment methods for all business lines
  • Help consolidate information and indicators for quarterly reporting to the business lines, senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary measures to resolve them
  • Be proactive in your professional development and keep abreast of new methods for managing technology and cybersecurity risks, and emerging threats and risks in this field
    This role reports to the Vice-President – Technology and Cyber Risk Management, the second Line of Defence (2LOD)
