Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be partnered with our client, a highly successful and well-known Top 20 firm of accountants based from ultra-modern offices in the picturesque town of Letchworth, that are now in a position to recruit a Senior Manager to take up a pivotal liaison contact for the firm’s recruitment sector client base.
The purpose of the role is to maintain existing client relationships, ensuring service levels are met and commercial, tax and business planning opportunities are considered. You will run a team of staff providing outsourcing and compliance services, working alongside the other lead relationship contacts and reporting to the Head of Department.
Role Responsibilities -
Take ownership of strategic client relationships
Identify and deliver advisory services for clients - e.g. tax planning, succession planning
Meeting potential new clients, providing proposals, and responding to enquiries
Identifying, converting and delivery of added value services
Delivering portfolio performance targets
Review/approval of outsourcing and compliance services. Quality control
Training the team
Overview of onboarding to ensure we are meeting our commitments to the client
Ensure client satisfaction levels are maintained or improved
Leveraging relationships with clients and external contacts
Seeking opportunities for growth internally and externally
Assisting delivery department business plan
Portfolio management - approve of bills, setting fee basis
Embedding systems, controls & processes in the department
Monitoring financial and non-financial KPIs
Person Requirements -
Qualified ACA/ACCA with minimum 5 years post qualification experience working as a Senior Manager/Director for a UK based accounting firm.
Leadership experience having previously run an effective team
Portfolio management experience, ideally clients in the recruitment sector although this is not essential.
A self-motivated, individual who wants to progress their career
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience of spotting and converting added value opportunities - being able to think
strategically and commercially, and communicate with clients.
