Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The Wholesale channel represents over 60% of the total adidas business and will continue to represent a major growth opportunity for our brand. Therefore, it is critical to maintain and establish best-in-class relationships with our partners & to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences, regardless of where they shop.
As Senior Manager Transformation, you are responsible for supporting leadership in the definition of an overarching long-term Global WHS strategy jointly with respective stakeholders, driving the end-to-end delivery of key business programs and translating strategic initiatives into actionable team priorities.

Success is empowering the broader Global WHS team with the right processes, tools and necessary resources to deliver programs with direct impact on sales and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive delivery of programs and initiatives by providing the framework, process and tools to enable planning, execution and results tracking
Strategic Program Delivery
o Lead the planning, execution and delivery of projects through effective application of PMI / Agile methodology and programming tools
o Provide goal-setting framework to develop detailed execution plans including roadmap, deliverables, milestones and success metrics
o Oversee briefing of WHS requirements into cross-functional teams to ensure joint prioritization and to secure the resources / capacity required to execute programs
o Drive continuous improvement of process and tools to improve team effectiveness
o Moderate process for review and prioritization of programs based on business needs
o Proactively identify interdependencies, perform risk assessment and drive resolution of conflicts
o Lead scoping and execution of selected (adhoc-) projects
Resource Planning & Budgeting
o Facilitate demand discussions and manage resource allocation across functions to deliver programs (e.g. yearly budgeting process – Tech vs. project budget)
o Act as single point of contact in all budgeting topics, closely monitoring team spends on execution of priorities and maintaining close collaboration with Finance & Procurement
Communication & Change Management
o Prepare regular progress updates to Senior Leadership Team, creating transparency of what has been delivered, and the business impact created
o Act as single point of contact for cross functional teams e.g., Digital, Tech, Business Development
o Manage change within programs using appropriate and effective communication methods to ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented

  • Will benefit from having a solid understanding of eCommerce and sales landscape
  • Fluent English both verbally and written

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in the field of Business or equivalent (note this is not a technical or IT role)
  • 6+ years of in-depth experience in program management/project management with proven track record
  • 3+ years of professional experience in sporting goods or fashion industry with B2C or B2B eCommerce experience a plus
