Job description
CONNECT TO YOUR INDUSTRY
At Deloitte, we are committed to tackling climate change. We launched WorldClimate, our global strategy to drive responsible climate choices within our organization and beyond. We are looking for a highly motivated sustainability professional to take on a leadership role in the UK WorldClimate Sustainability team to support our journey to net zero.
Working closely with the UK Sustainability leadership team, the Sustainable Operations & Value Chain lead will oversee delivery of our decarbonization agenda as we transition to net zero. This role will be responsible for overseeing emissions reduction relating to our fleet, real estate, business travel, homeworking & commuting and across our supply chain, by working closely with functional teams to integrate this agenda into their operational strategies and programmes. The role will also oversee progress against our wider operational, environmental commitments including those relating to resource efficiency and reducing our impacts on nature.
This role will sit within the UK WorldClimate team. It will directly oversee the UK sustainability operations programme and has 2 direct line reports. Given the breadth of the role it will require close alignment with ESG disclosure/reporting team as well as engagement with colleagues and stakeholders across the firm as we look to successfully embed sustainability across our operations and deliver on our net zero ambition.
