We are one of the fastest growing consumer-packaged goods (CPG) producers and ZYN is the number one selling nicotine pouch in the US. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision, we are currently seeking Senior Manager- Youth Access Prevention for our corporate in Richmond, VA.
This position will be responsible for leading the Youth Access Prevention program for the US Sales Division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of youth tobacco/nicotine usage rates and trends, tobacco/nicotine access prevention strategies, and federal and state regulatory requirements. This role will be focused on coordinating efforts with Field Sales personnel to implement proactive measures designed to restrict youth access of tobacco/nicotine products at brick and mortar and e-commerce selling outlets. This role will engage with other stakeholders (trade partners and associations, communities, advocacy groups, external and government affairs personnel) to raise awareness, educate, train and advance the company’s objective of eliminating youth access to tobacco/nicotine products.

Experience:

  • Experience in youth access prevention, public health, or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based prevention strategies, best practices, and emerging trends in youth access prevention.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and achieve measurable outcomes. Experience in policy advocacy, coalition building, and community mobilization preferred.
  • Familiarity with program evaluation methodologies and data analysis techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to prevent youth access to tobacco/nicotine products.
  • Outreach: Work with key stakeholders to ensure that SM/PMI trading partners participate in and comply with Youth Access Prevention measures. Work with internal stakeholders to enhance and refine the company’s approach to YAP tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for policies that restrict youth access to tobacco/nicotine products and promote trade partners support of such programs and adherence to standards.
  • Education and Awareness: Develop educational materials and campaigns to promote the company’s commitment to YAP, raise awareness about the importance of prevention and associated risks, and set goals and standards of performance.
  • Research and Evaluation: Oversee data collection, analysis, and evaluation efforts to measure the effectiveness of prevention programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to youth access prevention and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance program impact and reach.
    Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, public health, social work, education, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
