Description:

Revology Cars is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at the Orlando Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency to meet production targets. Analyze direct and indirect workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing and other processes. Use Lean Manufacturing tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, poka-yoke, and others to drive improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of process engineers, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to implement quality control measures and ensure that all vehicles meet or exceed established quality standards.
  • Cost Management: Analyze production costs and implement cost-effective measures without compromising quality and safety. Analyze labor hour trends by activity, station, and product configuration and propose actions to improve labor utilization.
  • Risk Mitigation: Drive PFMEAs to identify risks and take appropriate corrective action.
  • New Technology Integration: Evaluate and introduce new manufacturing technologies and tools to improve productivity and product quality. Work with finance, product development and component suppliers to research and prepare new equipment analysis to ensure the company is making proper in- and out-sourcing decisions.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain team to ensure timely delivery of components and materials, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all manufacturing processes adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement innovative solutions. Work with product development to implement standardized design criteria across all product lines to ensure that new products are designed considering manufacturing efficiency and quality.
