PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Assembly & Packaging Automation, Warehouse Automation or Building Automation
- Experience with Data Historians, automation systems, system integration using standard industrial protocols like OPC/UA and Ethernet/IP.
- Experience with Industrial Data Analytics concepts and tools such as OEE and Predictive MaintenanceExperience with Level 3 manufacturing systems such as MES and Commercial SerializationHands-on experience with computerized systems including troubleshooting, reliability and performance improvements
- Coding experience in at least one programming language and database knowledge
- Knowledge of Manufacturing systems architecture and integration designs including network topologies
- Experience with Cloud technologies!
- Experience working in a GxP environment
- Industrial experience

- Craft and own the roadmap of the Manufacturing Digital Technology ecosystem at the Ohio site, working closely with the global architects and the site and project teams to grow and evolve Amgen’s most digitally advanced manufacturing plant.
- Advance and mature Amgen’s Pharma 4.0 technologies at the Ohio site.
- Serve as the Architect for key advanced packaging and warehouse automation tools globally, helping to transfer the advancements achieved at our Ohio site to the wider Amgen network.
- Partner with business collaborators to identify, develop, and implement new technical solutions to solve problems and enhance key performance indicators such as quality, equipment reliability, and overall yield.
- Capture and synthesize requirements from various clients, customers, or end-users to develop optimal digital solutions tailored to specific needs.
- Monitor relevant industry trends and emerging technologies in the areas of Assembly & Packaging, Warehouse Automation and Industry 4.0, integrating relevant advancements into the company’s strategic planning.
- Maintain the AOH integrated Architecture diagram to ensure there is a clear understanding of overall integration.
