Senior / Manufacturing Test Engineering Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

If you are looking for an opportunity in manufacturing test engineering, Emerson has this exciting role for you! The Manufacturing Test Engineering Assistant will be responsible in supporting & setting up test equipment in the production line. This role also includes troubleshooting of product failures encountered by production during builds. Part of the responsibilities also include GMS set-up & yield improvement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Experience in PCBA & product troubleshooting is preferred.
• Knowledge in PLC, Power BI, GMS, Automated testing or programming is an advantage.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) and presentation skills.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Address production redlights & perform product failure analysis on PCBA and product troubleshooting for test related failures.
• Support in test data compilation & root cause determination of manufacturing test yield loss, un-scheduled test downtime and test quality issues.
• Support in test improvements and new test stations set-up & qualification.
• Generates & maintains manufacturing test procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments, Lock out Tag out, Safe Work Procedure, Equipment Safety review etc for test stations.
• Performs corrective/preventive maintenance for test stations.
• Supports implementation of GMS requirements.
• Ensures test equipment are operated in compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations and Policies.
• Performs any other tasks as and when required

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable in common laboratory test equipment such multimeter, power supply and oscilloscope.
