EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 2 years in a business analysis, strategy, marketing, or research role. Experience in professional services firm is a strong asset.
  • Strong quantitative research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled and proficient with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and languages like DAX.
  • Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with research database tools such as Statista, IBIS World, Gartner, etc.
  • Ability to draw insights and tell a story with data
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and works well in a team environment

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Based in the GTA, the role of the Client & Market Research Analyst is to provide leadership in the delivery of strategic insights into industry and macroeconomic trends in the Canadian economy and ultimately lead and/or support the development and design of communication solutions (i.e. data visualizations) to enhance research deliverables.
Furthermore, you’ll be a part of supporting A.I. driven technology innovation programs that are advancing the way people use, interact with and consume data. Working with a direct team of like-minded research specialists and creative talent, you’ll have access to the collaborators, tools and technologies to advance tomorrow’s best ideas.
The Client & Market Research Analyst reports into the Client & Market Intelligence Lead.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify business challenges and conduct primary research, or leverage strong secondary sources through sound principles, in support of driving credible insight and guidance.
  • Understand and communicate business issues effectively, enhancing audience comprehension.

  • Have a general understanding of the Canadian market and industry trends.
  • Use data to craft insightful reports and narratives tailored to project needs.
