GoDaddy is looking for an experienced Media professional to join our marketing team overseeing the TV + Audio (Podcast/Digital Music). We are looking for someone with a passion for building brands while also driving business results.
GoDaddy seeks a seasoned media professional specializing in Linear TV management and Audio marketing to improve our marketing team’s focus on paid media strategies. The primary responsibility will be to lead all aspects of and elevate our Linear TV and Audio media campaigns in collaboration with our external agency partners, ensuring that our TV media buying and planning strategies align with and support our broader marketing goals. This position requires a dynamic individual with a zeal for brand enhancement and achieving measurable business outcomes through meticulously strategized media placements in both TV and Audio channels.

YOUR EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE…

  • Extensive experience in Linear TV and Audio media buying, including direct experience with programmatic Audio buying.
  • Demonstrable success in driving business results and establishing clear performance benchmarks in both TV and Audio channels.
  • 5+ years in brand and performance media planning, with a deep dive into TV and Audio media buying, showcasing impactful business outcomes.
  • Profound knowledge of media measurement across digital and traditional platforms, with a particular focus on performance marketing analytics.
  • Analytical prowess with a strong foundation in key performance metrics and a solid grasp of experimentation and attribution methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills and budget oversight capabilities.
  • Proven track record in media management, adept at balancing multiple campaigns across TV and Audio channels simultaneously.
  • Experience fostering collaboration within in-house teams and external agencies, ensuring cohesive media strategy execution.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of articulating strategies, insights, and results to internal and external audiences.
  • Tech-savvy professional with an understanding of crucial marketing platforms and tools, particularly those relevant to Audio media planning and buying.
  • Strategic problem solver, able to develop media plans that affect various stages of the marketing funnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the strategic execution and operational management of TV and Audio media planning/buying activities, whether in-house or through agency collaborations.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure TV and Audio activations are well-integrated within the larger media and comprehensive marketing objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvements in campaign performance by leading optimization initiatives, adopting a test-and-learn method, and encouraging an experimental culture.
  • Coordinate budget, execution, and performance analysis for our internal and partner-led teams in TV and Audio channels.
  • Develop and communicate informative weekly and post-campaign performance reports, emphasizing channel-specific metrics.
  • Act as an influencer in educating key partners about the evolving media landscape, with an emphasis on Audio and Linear TV media trends.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, innovative technologies, and unique opportunities in the Linear TV and Audio domains.
  • Coordinate with the Business Analytics team for detailed media investment measurement and attribution.
  • Manage substantial budgets and liaise closely with finance teams to streamline all financial processes related to media campaigns.
  • Strategize and refine GoDaddy’s plan to the Linear TV and Audio channel, ensuring a coherent and impactful presence.
  • Coordinate all operational aspects of ad campaigns, including set-up, quality assurance, budget tracking, and billing.
  • Collaborate with the Brand and creative teams to align media creatives with channel-specific audience behaviors and central initiatives.
