Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The National Senior Marketing & Proposal Specialist reports to two Branch Managers or their designee, and will work collaboratively with the Corporate Marketing Department. Work is performed under the direction of technical staff in the Branches responsible for development of new business. Work is executed under general guidance with limited supervision.

  • Support branch/region management in the development of new material for targeted clients and/or branding/marketing uses;
  • Coordinate and support implementation of targeted marketing campaigns for the branch/region/company as needed (assist with strategy development, approach/method, help identify and/or create campaign materials such as videos, brochures, PDs, etc. and support the debrief of analytics and lead follow-up);
  • Manage the schedule associated with marketing tasks/projects;
  • Coordinate with and lead technical teams in the development of targeted announcements for internal and external posting;
  • Understand and assist with branch and regional initiatives with regard to Client and service sector, and action group (AG) strategic plans;
  • Act on and filter data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience by distributing to technical and marketing leads;
  • Prepare and assemble written and visual information for client presentations;
  • Assist with production of proposals/SOQs, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction and ensure on-time delivery;
  • Maintain systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists;
  • Work with technical teams to create compelling and informative content, demonstrating our position as thought leader in focus areas;
  • Assist with the preparation and/or assembly of written and visual information for client presentations;
  • Coordinate with practitioners to maintain master resumes, project descriptions, and imagery;
  • Maintain and manage content library, including prior proposals, templates, and visuals;
  • Assist in maintaining scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements;
  • As directed, monitor sources of industry- related market information; distribute potential leads to proposal and marketing teams;
  • Review, cull and maintain select sources of industry-related market information that supports a proposal pursuit;
  • Gather research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience;
  • Assist with the development and management of panel memberships, and Client managers in client care;
  • Identify needed pursuit information and lead the creation of proposal folders with key information, and team members (branch/region/CMSS firm-wide);
  • Track & distribute events planning info to practitioners and research event attendees and enter industry event information;
  • Maintain corporate memberships in industry and client organizations & key meeting calendars;
  • Conduct research related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience;
  • Assist with graphics concepts and development, writing/content, and proofreading; and
  • Handle requested edits to marketing content such as press releases and article drafts.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Technical suite skills: ability to create/work with MS templates, Adobe InDesign templates, CRM tools. (required)
  • Experience with the production of technical proposals. (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of production techniques to support proposal, presentation, or other sales and marketing activities. (required)
  • Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. (required)
  • Advanced computer literacy using MS applications and Desktop Publishing Software (Adobe Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Office Professional, Outlook). (required)
