Description:
OUR CLIENT IS A WELL-ESTABLISHED MNC, MARKET LEADER IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR MATERIALS ENGINEER (MOLDING) TO ASSIST THEIR TEAM FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF THEIR BUSINESS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical expert in the field of materials, particularly focusing on Polymer technology and its practical applications/usage
- Conduct assessments of various material properties, assessing their suitability for specific project requirements
- Recommend alternative materials to innovate and address the relevant project challenges
- Liaise/Collaborate with suppliers and vendors of resin materials to develop new compound solutions
- Provide guidance to the company’s design team regarding optimal material selection
- Collaborate with the company’s various teams to refine process technologies
Evaluate Mold Flow Analysis to ensure optimal manufacturing processesAll other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant fields of Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledgeable/Experienced with molding processes and material properties
