POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Game Mathematician here at Push Gaming, you will be responsible for creating mathematical models for casino games and analysing them from a math balancing/design point of view. You will be working closely with Product Owners, Game Developers as well as the Sales Team to ensure the delivery of innovative and high-quality games that meet the market needs. You’ll be able to work on new and unique mechanics and game ideas and we welcome your suggestions too.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
Location: London/hybrid. One day per week in the office.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in slot game mathematics
  • University Degree in Mathematics or other numerate discipline such as Statistics, Physics or Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Combinatorics, Probability Theory and Quantitative Analysis.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of programming
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Team player
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities:

  • Work with existing and new game mechanics and figure out how to balance them appropriately.
  • Constructing games in code and running Monte Carlo Simulations to gather information used for balancing decisions and for documentation.
  • Performing calculations in Excel to get exact values for key values.
  • Analyse and review games in development and suggest improvements in mechanics and balancing.
  • Construct documentation for reviews of games and for the final version of a game.
  • Working closely with your team to ensure the maths is integrated into the game as well as possible. This includes product owners, artists, animators, developers, and QA testers.
  • Ensuring your games comply with compliance requirements and our own high standards.
