Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team in Brisbane.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Complete conceptual and detailed designs from mechanical engineering sketches or specification outlines of engineers or a supervising design drafter.
  • Participate in review of mechanical/ instrument design and advise on technical drafting difficulties or government/client compliance requirements as appropriate.
  • Investigate new drafting techniques and drafting equipment and recommend changes to standard practices.
  • Maintain a general oversight of systems development for plan storage/retrieval and monitor activities of the plan recording system and detailed service and failure records.
  • Site investigation communication and concept development skills.
  • Provide support for drawing information and requests.
