Description:

A well-established manufacturing company located in Guelph, ON is in search of an adept Senior mechanical Engineer with a background in Automotive to join their team. The Engineer will be tasked with analyzing parts, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to determine the operations necessary for product fabrication and assembly.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar capacity
  • Profound mechanical expertise with a strong grasp of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Desirable experience in robotics programming
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges
  • Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects independently

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Design and construct mechanical components and systems
  • Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to generate detailed schematics and drawings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
  • Lead process enhancement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
  • Offer technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
