Responsibilities:

MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Design of Mechanical engineering works for building services projects to deliver buildable design within a timely manner, and economical service to meet client’s requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design of mechanical services such as Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation, Fire Protection, Medical gas, Compress Air and Sanitary and Plumbing System etc.
  • Presentation of design concept report to client.
  • Preparation of M&E cost estimate base on approved design scheme.
  • Preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation.
  • Co-ordination of M&E services within the office.
  • Reviewing of shop drawings, material submissions and handle RFIs.
  • Verification of Work Progress and Variation Order for progress claim.
  • Liaise with main contractor, architect, authorities to ensure technical compliance and timely completion of project.
  • Carry out site investigation survey and submitting of technical reports.
  • Managing of Designers
  • Project Management from pre-development through to completion, including the following
  • Site Assessment and Inspection
  • Design development and co-ordination
  • Attend site meetings, technical meetings etc to resolve technical issues.
  • Following up with authorities on submissions, inspection and issuance of certification.
  • Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method

Statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to good industry practice.

  • Provide feedbacks in the areas of Quality Control measures and corrective actions.
  • Assist in company’s ISO system implementation and audit
  • Other works as assigned by the company
