BACKGROUND & SKILLS

Applicants for the position are expected to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in product design, development, and/or engineering research.
The role requires adeptness in operating within a high-quality, deadline-driven environment, necessitating strong time management and project management abilities to efficiently organize and strategize system and process development.
Moreover, candidates should exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and collaboration as integral team members.
A global mindset and proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal. While the capacity to work effectively within a team is essential, candidates should also display autonomy and initiative in undertaking tasks independently and assuming responsibility when required.

FURTHERMORE, WE WILL APPRECIATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS WITHIN:

  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM
  • Understanding of functional safety (especially ISO 26262) and experience of developing products for automotive industry
  • Understanding of cyber security (especially ISO 21434).
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps and some requirements management tool
  • Understanding of power electronic converters and electric traction systems.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the electrification of on and off-highway vehicles through new product development projects. In this position you will

  • Design of mechanics and electro-mechanical component´s
  • Create/review product requirements
  • Generate design verification specifications and testing requirements
  • Generate engineering reports and documentation
  • Work with other workstreams and program management to meet program objectives
