We are increasing our capabilities in R&D Mechanical Engineering and looking for a new experienced colleague(s) to join our talented team! As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be working on new product development projects to deliver new products into our offering and participate in Engineer To Order -type demanding customer driven custom solutions development for our key customers. Your tasks will also include maintaining engineering data in our data management systems (PDM, ERP) and participating in ongoing team-specific operational development projects. You are fascinated by technology and looking to be a Lead Mechanical Engineer in our product development projects. You are a true team player and have prior experience of orchestrating a design team to meet the targets and timelines of the project by leading the design work of other mechanical engineers in a project. You may have prior experience in working with external engineers to support rapid changes in design efforts, and you are able to mentor and coach the engineering team to have high quality results on time. In addition, you have prior experience of making realistic estimates of engineering work and time needed.
Since you will be communicating directly with other internal and external stakeholders, we expect you to have excellent communication skills. For example, in this position you will work in close collaboration with our Sales, Sourcing and Product Management as well as various manufacturing, assembly and testing teams in addition to external service providers and suppliers. Even though you work very well independently, you also have good teamwork spirit and a positive, hands-on attitude. You will have more than 50 colleagues in our R&D and Engineering team with different kind of engineering and science backgrounds. What we expect from you:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering
• Experience in product development
• Proven skills with a common mechanical engineering 3D CAD software
• Proved track record to lead and orchestrate a team of mechanical engineers as a project Lead Engineer
• Prior experience of work estimation of large scale
• Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
• Ability to sketch concepts efficiently
• Motivated to learn new technology and engineering practices
• Fast learner and able to enhance knowledge
• Good teamwork spirit and communication skills
• Participation to continuous improvements within department
• Wide knowledge of production methods
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken

• Systematic, careful, and committed to high-quality
• Hands-on attitude, willingness to participate in to prototype build
• Experience in using Creo
• Experience of PDM systems
• Experience in strength and thermal simulation
• Experience of standards and directives, such as LVD and MD
