Description:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – Master of Science or similar within Mechanical Rotating Equipment. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- 5-10 years of experience from operations for Rotating Equipment.
- Good knowledge about government requirements, Norwegian and international standards for Rotating Equipment.
- Offshore installation experience.
- Offshore security certificate.
- Experience working in multidiscipline teams and handling interfaces.
- Demonstrated flexibility to take on new challenges.
- Wide Rotating Equipment organizational/network experience is an advantage.
- Norwegian spoken language.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line technical support for the Edvard Grieg-asset within rotating equipment (RE) boundaries.
- Scope RE preventive and corrective work. Plan, prioritize, optimize and execute to meet Aker BP targets on reliability and cost. Optimize work to ensure minimum equipment down time.
- Perform condition monitoring analysis and evaluate outcome and recommendations.
- Cost management of the agreed budgets for Edvard Grieg-asset assigned activities.
- Participate in Community of Practice for Rotating Equipment engineers.
