Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of an experienced and established materials handling team to leverage previous project designs, whilst still being adaptable and able to provide innovative designs and thinking when required
  • Work across a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and operations
  • Preparing conceptual and detailed design of various ore crushing and conveying facilities and associated services
  • Defining and recommending design methods, specifications and performance of functional requirements for new projects
  • Undertaking or supervising the preparation of feasibility studies, surveys and reports, design layouts, bill of quantities and cost estimates. Generating equipment specifications and support the equipment evaluation and procurement activities during project execution.
  • Managing mechanical discipline budget and schedule during the execution of projects in all phases of maturity.
  • Carrying-out site inspections and liaising with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers. Engineering support to installation, construction and commissioning teams with the occasional deployment as a commissioning resource.
  • Liaising with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders within the industry to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projects
