Plan, prepare, promote, and deliver events, seminars, and education activities for key target groups to increase the profile of the Council and promote community understanding of sentencing matters.
Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate creative communication and engagement projects and ensure they are delivered within set timeframes and budget.
Write high-level, accurate and engaging content, including e-newsletters, media releases, social media content, presentations, briefing notes and other publications.
Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and proactively identify opportunities for community engagement.
Liaise with the media on matters relating to the Council including, when required, arranging interviews, launches and media events.
Monitor daily media and advise on proactive and reactive media opportunities, and provide strategic media, communication and production advice to senior staff and the Council.
Create and post content to the Council’s social media channels and website.
