Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Media Manager DACH (m/w/d). This role involves overseeing media investments of 100m+ EUR and campaign activations across several markets in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You’ll drive media strategies to meet local market requirements, handle the planning and optimization of campaigns, and compile and distribute outcomes and insights. As the key figure for media activations in these markets, your role includes direct collaboration with local media agencies and marketing teams.

You will be responsible for:

  • Bringing the most of working collaboratively with regional marketing teams and local media agencies - balancing pan-European strategies with local media and communications challenges and needs in an efficient manner
  • Leading local annual media planning, local media mix, and end-to-end media campaigns
  • Implementing omnichannel thinking through unified online/offline activations
  • Managing best-in-class brand media activations with upper and mid-funnel focus (to drive awareness and consideration), media planning and buying practices across all media channels for your regional cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Lead the relationship with local media agency offices.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in Media Planning (online/offline) within an Agency or Advertiser and hold a degree in either marketing, advertising, business and/or similar field (or an equivalent in working experience)
  • Proven record of planning and deploying local and regional campaigns
  • Excellent stakeholder management, professional confidence and prioritization skills
  • Ability to interpret and elaborate on actionable outcomes with high level presentation and excel skills
  • Great communication skills, fluent English (any cluster language skills appreciated)
  • European media landscape knowledge with special focus on experience within the regional cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Passionate about marketing / media and cross-teams cooperation
  • Experience with Fashion / Retail / Beauty / Lifestyle industries appreciated but not mandatory
