Description:
Are you a dedicated, organised, and compassionate individual with exceptional administrative skills? An exciting opportunity awaits to join a psychology and counselling service as a Senior Medical Receptionist.
Currently they are seeking an efficient Senior Medical Receptionist/Team Manager to take responsibility of the day to day operations of a busy practice. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Director to monitor quality of services provided
- Dealing with any escalated client issues
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Contributing to and management of administration processes.
- Responding to psychologist’s administrative requests
- Maintaining client confidentiality
- Managing reception staff schedule and supporting team
- Support in recruitment, induction and training
- Assisting with marketing activities and social media presence
- Maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving
- High level of communication skills written and verbal
- Previous experience managing staff and working in a medical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Understanding the Medicare benefits schedule and Private Health Funds
- Able to work productively within a team environment and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Strong computer skills with proven proficiency using practice management or CRM software (PracSuite) in a paperless environment
