Description:

Are you a dedicated, organised, and compassionate individual with exceptional administrative skills? An exciting opportunity awaits to join a psychology and counselling service as a Senior Medical Receptionist.

Currently they are seeking an efficient Senior Medical Receptionist/Team Manager to take responsibility of the day to day operations of a busy practice. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Director to monitor quality of services provided
  • Dealing with any escalated client issues
  • Identifying areas for improvement
  • Contributing to and management of administration processes.
  • Responding to psychologist’s administrative requests
  • Maintaining client confidentiality
  • Managing reception staff schedule and supporting team
  • Support in recruitment, induction and training
  • Assisting with marketing activities and social media presence
  • Maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving
  • High level of communication skills written and verbal
  • Previous experience managing staff and working in a medical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Understanding the Medicare benefits schedule and Private Health Funds
  • Able to work productively within a team environment and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Strong computer skills with proven proficiency using practice management or CRM software (PracSuite) in a paperless environment
