Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a dedicated friendly team in a fast-paced environment within the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
As part of our ongoing investment in clinical services we are strengthening our administration support for our CAMHS Consultants and our wider medical teams by introducing a Senior Medical Team Administrator Role.
We are looking for a colleague to provide a high quality, effective administration service across our CAMHS service line within Central and West .
This roles is varied, busy, exciting and key, to supporting our medical teams in delivering on their duties.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can communicate in a professional manner with our Patients, Relatives, Trust Staff and other departments, with a compassionate nature and ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate how they prioritise their workload, be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information, that can be distressing at times, in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
It is essential that the right candidate possess quality typing skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook and other packages. Preferably, the right candidate would have experience of patient software systems although training on Lorenzo (patient administration system) will be given.
The successful candidate must demonstrate experience of administrative support, reports and presentations as well as problem solving skills. Experience of transcribing medical correspondence and documentation is essential for this role and the successful application will be able to evidence knowledge of medical terminology.
This post will support our Medical Teams based in Central (Norwich) and West (King’s Lynn) CAMHS, therefore occasional travel to other localities maybe required.

Our Senior Medical Team Administrator will be responsible for providing a high level of administration support to named medical colleagues within a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Diary management; including booking clinics/ appointments and planning meetings and arranging travel arrangements
Drafting correspondence and updating records: audio and copy typing all letters, memorandums, summaries and reports paying particular attention to accuracy and presentation, completing within given deadlines,
To provide a confidential and efficient administrative service to teams.
Maintaining an efficient process of entering correspondence on to the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system
Organise venues, accommodation and agendas for meetings
