The role is that of a Senior Mental Health Clinician who will provide leadership and has training, qualifications and experience in assessing and treating young people with mental health problems and supporting colleagues in a multidisciplinary team environment. You are dedicated and passionate about children, adolescent and youth mental health. You enjoy working with people who face complex issues and have a strong commitment to family inclusive practice. You have great skills in care coordination, family work and therapeutic, evidence-based interventions, as well as good presentation skills. You are a person who lives our iCARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
While the service operates within standard business hours (8am-5.30pm), there will be occasions where client work may extend beyond these timeframes (earlier or later). Therefore the clinician will need to have some capacity to be flexible around start and finish times. Although this role will be based primarily at one main location, all staff employed by Monash Health Early in Life Mental Health Service may be required to travel to, and work from, all Monash Health sites.
