Description:

To join a fast-growing MHST within Bradford District offering support to children/young people and school communities around emotional and mental health issues in young people.
The post holder will be expected to support schools and educational facilities to identify emotional mental health issues and find appropriate support to both teaching staff and students.
To act as an interface between staff working in all emotional mental health services providing liaison, assessment, training and consultation regarding the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.
Working within a team of professions alongside school to identify young people early for mental health support. Working with schools to prevent mental health issues and promote wellbeing using the whole school approach. Working within the system to enable families and young people to receive care and support at the earliest opportunities.
To offer consultation and signposting
To provide evidence-based interventions.
The actual distribution of workload within these areas will depend on the demands of the service by agreement with the Clinical lead.
