MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• The post holder will be responsible for the assessment and identification of those at risk of developing psychosis or a first episode of psychosis through use of specialist assessment.
• To carry continuing responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of recovery-based care programmes for those individuals who are experiencing or at risk of psychosis.
• The post holder may be required to engage with a range of statutory and non-statutory services to ensure a package of care is delivered to the individual and their family/carer.
• Demonstrate expertise in identifying neurodevelopmental disorders in children and young people in the presence of psychosis and make reasonable adjustments to their service, including communication preferences, to facilitate vocational and educational recovery and social functioning.
• The post holder will be required to take a lead in health promotion and teaching of other team members and staff from outside agencies.
• To take a lead role in team development, performance management and clinical audit.
