What you’ll do

  • Manage the ordering progress with Merchandiser, and provide problem solving wherever necessary
  • Follow up on the sampling process
  • Monitor selection critical path by daily liasons with supporting departments and external parties
  • Communicate and work closely with European Buyers and other Asian Branch offices
  • Help to manage the order allocation process within the department strategy and the set framework from Headquarters
  • Work closely with product sourcing and development teams to ensure the best offers to our customer
  • Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier within the negotiation parameters set by Headquarters
  • Contributes on the evaluation and monitor the factories for continuous improvement and business development
  • Work closely and effectively with cross-functional departments (QA, PD, Sourcing, Production, Artwork…) to mitigate potential risks and to ensure on-time delivery with the required quality standards
  • Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary
  • To provide support to the Line Manager

What you’ll need

  • Diploma level education or above
  • Strong in price negotiations
  • Independent, results oriented, flexible and strong sense of responsibilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel and Power Point)
  • Good command of written and spoken English, additional languages would be beneficial
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Must be self motivated, organised, responsible, hardworking and independent
  • Good working attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player
