Description:
ESSENTIAL NEEDS:
- Proven track record of success in mergers and acquisitions, and familiarity with PAL application and it’s modules (https://www.mariapps.com/smartpal/)
- Strong financial acumen, with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal analysis.
- Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing M&A transactions, coupled with the ability to navigate complex legal matters.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Merger and Acquisition Lead within our esteemed organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives within the dynamic landscape of technology development and offshore marine services. This role calls for an individual with a deep-seated passion for orchestrating intricate deals and a keen eye for identifying lucrative opportunities in technology and maritime industry. This is a full-time role based in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market expansion – to grow and diversify our products and client base, focusing in our in-house PAL application and software, especially with focus on the various Accounts module, Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) module
- External and internal stakeholder management, ensuring all projects are tracked, executed within timelines, and accounted for
- Deal structuring and execution, which requires cross-department collaborations in order to ensure successful transactions, acquisitions and integration process of post-acquisition
- Compliance and risk management – including ensuring our companies employ best practices that are a best fit for our business models, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risks associated with these activities, in order to safeguard the organization’s interests throughout the deal life cycle
- Strategic planning – leading development and execution of comprehensive merger and acquisition strategies
- Analyze potential mergers and acquisitions, identify accounting/reporting issues, assess their financial impact on joint ventures, and monitor their overall influence on the business
- In-depth market analysis, by identifying potential targets for partnership and organizational growth, including harnessing innovative methodologies to synthesize complex concepts and articulate them with clarity and impact through story-telling (presentations)
- Ad-hoc/Other duties:
- Review financial and operating reports, participate in monthly forecasts, and maintain communication with executive officers
- Analyze financial models and valuation to arrive at an acceptable deal price
- Develop transactional and legal documents
- Manage closing activities
- Perform KYC, AML, and CFT checks on clients, ensuring compliance with established policies
