KEY REQUIREMENTS

Essential Criteria

• Degree level qualification in Microbiology or Science related discipline OR
• equivalent experience.
• Previous relevant laboratory experience.
• Working knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques and ability to troubleshoot.

Desirable Criteria

• Postgraduate level qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
• Previous relevant industrial experience in a GMP/GLP environment.
• Experience in method development

and/or validation.

A typical day for a Senior Microbiology Scientist is far from typical. The role is dynamic and quite versatile in its daily tasks.
The main function of the role is to assist the Microbiology Manger in the day to day workings of the cGMP Microbiology Laboratories within ASI, ensuring the delivery of a top-quality microbiological testing service to our external Irish and International client base as well as our Internal client base. Typical tasks include planning and scheduling work as to ensure optimum efficiency, productivity and quality, and generation and reporting of test results and Certificates of Analysis in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.
