You have a passion for collaboration that enables you to bring the best out of your stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. With a deep understanding of MS Active Directory architecture, including domains, forests, organisational units and group policies, your impact will contribute to the security and continuity of one of our core end user platforms. We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate extensive experience and/or high levels of competence in:

  • Managing complex, enterprise grade AD environments
  • Active Directory replication (RPC, KCC), trust relationships and domain controller management.
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python or other scripting language) to automate repetitive tasks and manage AD environments.
  • Network infrastructure fundamentals, i.e DNS, DHCP, in relation to Active Directory
  • Group Policy Management, including designing, implementing and managing Group Policies on AD.
  • Security controls and best practice methodologies.
  • Ability to identify and remediate around key risk and resilience controls.
  • Clear and effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of AD migration, upgrade and consolidation projects.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AD performance and availability.
  • Managing and optimising DNS, DHCP and other related services to support AD.
  • Developing and enforcing security policies, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Designing, developing, deploying and managing cloud-based AD integrations (Azure AD, AWS).
  • Backup and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Identifying and leading service improvement initiatives to ensure technical solutions continue to meet business requirements
