The Senior Mobile Backend Developer will be an expert on the Golang ecosystem, ready to recommend tools, resources and best practices. This role will be dedicated in helping to plan, design, implement, test, and benchmark our large and complex software system.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and support distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, highly available, and resilient systems in a cloud environment.
  • Build monitoring tools for server-side components.
  • Provide technical leadership, collaborate with product management on future requirements, contribute to product vision and strategy.
  • Provide support and assistance to the customer facing team.
  • Troubleshoot and support live customer operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of Golang.
  • Proven experience of back-end development.
  • Accredited education in computer science or similar fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in overall architecture of large, complicated software systems.
  • Proven experience in Linux.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks assigned.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with ACID (MySQL preferred) and eventually consistent databases.
