Description:

AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE,

  • You hold at least, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or equivalent;
  • You have 10 years or more of experience in transactional work or deal negotiation.
  • You are customer focused and oriented;
  • You possess strong interpersonal and persuasion skills;
  • You have strong drafting skills in English;
  • You have excellent communication and negotiating skills combined with the ability to understand and interpret contractual terms and conditions;
  • You have the ability to work flexible, extended and/or irregular working hours in line with business demands, together with an ability to travel on short notice;
  • You have the ability to work autonomously;
  • You are bilingual – French and English. Knowledge of a third language is an asset;
  • Proven experience or knowledge of the aviation industry.

Responsibilities:

You will report to the Director, Contracts – Traditional Accounts, New and Pre-Owned Aircraft and lead all contract negotiation activities of new aircraft purchase agreements:

  • Lead the negotiation of agreements for the sale of private jets. You will be responsible for drafting complex and specialized terms and conditions that balance Bombardier’s risk and the needs of our unique customers.
  • Collaborate with a team of highly skilled, highly accomplished business and legal minds to achieve the best results for Bombardier.
  • Manage multi-million dollar cross-border closings on a regular basis.
  • Direct internal stakeholders to align multiple interests with the terms of the agreements you are negotiating.
  • Participate and contribute in meetings with Bombardier senior management and with high net worth individuals.
  • Being accountable and support our compliance processes and policies.
  • Lead efforts to address continuing improvement to standard agreements.
