Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our successful team.
Our team of Network engineers form a key part of our Technical team carrying out cutting edge networking implementations for our large and growing customer base.
Please note this is a client facing role covering UK Clients, which will require you to travel and deploy our latest network projects. Although this role can be based anywhere in the UK, you must be able to visit the Cardiff office to spend time with the team.
A full UK Driving license is essential and an enhanced DBS check is required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Dealing with technical escalations from the Network and assigned project resources within the team, providing advice and guidance.
  • Technically leading Network and other assigned projects from start to completion.
  • Mentoring team members and providing knowledge transfer and thorough documentation.
  • Working closely with the project managers until project completion.
  • Successful technical delivery of any projects that you are assigned to.
  • Work closely with our sales executives and pre-sales team on technical design validation.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the designs and solutions that you have input into.
  • Nationwide travel to customer sites at times, working outside of the office for extended periods of time. You will also be required to carry out work out of normal working hours as agreed with your line manager and in line with the company’s overtime policy.
  • Provide ad hoc support to our Network Operating Centre (NOC), assisting customers with questions and queries about their supported networks on an escalation basis.
