We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with specialized knowledge and experience in Arista networking technologies to design, implement, and maintain our carrier-grade network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the network, with a focus on optimizing performance for gaming applications.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Arista technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Arista EOS (Extensible Operating System) and related platforms.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale, carrier-grade networks for high-performance applications, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
  • Hands-on experience with network automation and scripting using tools such as Ansible, Python, or similar.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry certifications such as Arista Certified Engineering Professional (ACEP) or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Arista-based network solutions to meet the unique requirements of the gaming sector.
  • Configure and maintain Arista switches, routers, and related network devices to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and high-availability network solutions that meet customer demands and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
  • Perform network capacity planning and optimization to support the growing demands of the gaming industry.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, DDoS attacks, and other security threats.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the network engineering team.
