QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Arista technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Arista EOS (Extensible Operating System) and related platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, carrier-grade networks for high-performance applications, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
- Hands-on experience with network automation and scripting using tools such as Ansible, Python, or similar.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry certifications such as Arista Certified Engineering Professional (ACEP) or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Arista-based network solutions to meet the unique requirements of the gaming sector.
- Configure and maintain Arista switches, routers, and related network devices to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and high-availability network solutions that meet customer demands and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization to support the growing demands of the gaming industry.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, DDoS attacks, and other security threats.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the network engineering team.
