REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working in a similar position with either professional level or expert level experience in Juniper Networks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of connectivity solutions with an ability to articulate the value proposition to the customer
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelIf successful you will need to pass a police security check

Responsibilities:

You will work as part of an experienced team of engineers and be responsible for delivering technical implementation services focused on data networks and data security. You will help support other departments from a technical perspective when needed, for example – presales, supporting the sales team in presentations to provide expert advice to clients. The role offers a regular mix of projects, working within the public and private sectors. As this role is focused on Juniper Networks there is an expectation form the business that you obtain and maintain Professional/Expert level certifications in Juniper if you don’t already hold them. This will be supported by the business by financially assisting and providing paid time off to complete exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the engineering team, work on configuration planning and rollout management of network products
  • Data Centre enterprise switching and routing
  • Deployment of enterprise firewall migrations
  • Using Juniper MIST, Juniper Apstra and Juniper Routing, Switching & Firewalls
  • Help with staging equipment for site rollouts
  • Develop configuration scripts, conduct testing and record test results
  • Attending client meetings with sales team when required
  • Scope clients technical requirements and recommend a solution
  • Assist with drafting scope of works and providing detailed descriptions of solution being offered to the client
  • Maintain expert level certifications
