Job Description:
Designs, implements, supports and documents enterprise networks, storage, servers, and software environments for all of Pet Retail Brands.

Essential Duties

  • Design - Ability to designs and develop infrastructure solutions that enables larger scale projects and functionality as aligned with the architecture strategy.
  • Implement - Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate designed solutions using best practices to provide a future support model.
  • Support (Tier 2) – Ability to monitor, trouble-shoot, and resolve enterprise infrastructure issues as they arise. Identify and provide strategic solutions to achieve a stable environment.
  • Document – Ability to document the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructures solutions.

Experience, Education, Certifications

  • 4-year college degree or technical training equivalency
  • 10+ years of professional experience with the following:
  • Network configuration, support, analysis and design
  • Problem solving
  • Results-oriented track record
  • Practical SDLC and Project Management understanding
  • IaaS, SaaS, PaaS (Azure Cloud)
  • Security and compliance PCI, SOX, and ADA
  • Retail Experience

Technical Skills

  • Develop and manage complex projects related to network infrastructure.
  • 10+ years’ experience in routing and switching technologies.
  • 10+ years’ experience in installing, configuring, and managing Cisco L2&3 switches 3850, N9K etc.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Meraki L2&3 switch installation, administration, and management.
  • Extensive Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Extensive Experience with SD-WAN Velo Cloud deployment & administration.
  • Experience with network virtualization using VMware NSX-T solution.
  • Experience with Voice Technologies, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Nortel MC1000 Avaya IP Office (VoIP, SIP Trunk).
  • 10+ years’ experience in wireless network with WLAN controller 5508/9908 and Meraki access points management.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VTP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN design.
  • Planning, design, and implementation of the corporate, stores and warehouse network infrastructure. including routing, switching, wireless, security and monitoring.
  • Patching of all network devices and configuration backup and archive.
  • Extensive experience with F5 Load balancer for evenly traffic distribution across multiple nodes.
  • Monitor and manage network performance and availability, including but not limited to troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Experience with SolarWinds, Manage-engine or equivalent network monitoring solutions
  • Good understanding of highly available architecture and experience supporting mission-critical services.
  • Network related technology support and IT Service Desk ticket resolution within stipulated SLAs.
  • Develop & maintain the corporate network disaster recovery plan and failover efforts.
  • Vendor liaison for hardware and software maintenance, quotes, and SLAs.
  • Proactively monitor network performance. Create standard operating procedures & escalation processes for alarms & security events relating to Network Services.

  • Troubleshoot system / network issues and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) working effectivity with partners and while collaborating with other IT streams.
  • Test and deploy necessary fixes and system/network upgrades in collaboration with IT partners and OEM.

  • Experience with Cisco ISE for access control policy platform.
  • Provide prompt, effective day-to-day support, accurately identify and resolve issues, perform controlled and timely incident resolution all while making client satisfaction a top priority.

  • Experience with network segmentation for UAT, DEV and production traffics.
  • LAN, WAN support and troubleshooting experience.
