Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a strong Network Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions for our client, with a focus on network segmentation, NAC 802.1x, and Aruba ClearPass technologies across campus, data centre, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement network segmentation and NAC 802.1x using Aruba ClearPass in campus, data centre, and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with our client’s IT team, business stakeholders, and external partners to support delivery outcomes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and vendor solutions for infrastructure services.
• Design, monitor, and support LAN/WAN to provide effective, reliable, and secure communication transport.
• Contribute to effective risk and issue management associated with infrastructure design.
• Represent and lead the Global Network team in project initiatives and deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex problems with network infrastructure and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Proven experience (7-10 years) as a Senior Network Engineer on large-scale and technically challenging network infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in routing, switching, wireless, application delivery, and encryption technologies.
• Extensive experience with TCP/IP concepts, DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, TACACS+/Radius, and authentication technologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HP Aruba controllers.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, MacOS, IoT, and mobile devices.
• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure solution design, including network, security, and cloud-based services.
• Extensive experience with monitoring & configuration management tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated understanding of working in complex environments and ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise activities.
• Superior analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
