POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer to join our team. This position will report to the Manager, Security Architecture & Engineering. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Modine’s secure network infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in safeguarding our organization’s data, systems, and communications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the highest level of network security. Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of combined information security, compliance, and governance experience
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and OSI layer
• Knowledge of and experience in utilizing various methodologies and frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL, ISO 27001/27002 and 27018)
• Working knowledge of firewall technologies like Palo Alto Networks
• Working knowledge of cloud firewall technologies like ZScaler
• Certifications like CCNA and CCNP are highly desirable
• Working knowledge with a GRC tool like RSA Archer, Standard Fusion, etc.Possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork and project management skills.
• Be able to communicate effectively with resources at all levels of the Modine organization.
• Be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and drive for results.
• Be able to think logically and independently and solve complex problems in their assigned area of responsibility.
• Be able to apply the Modine Values and support the 80/20 initiatives

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT (Information Technology), MIS, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience

Network Security Design and Deployment:

• Design, implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure access control systems
• Design and implement network security segmentation across the Modine network
• Design and build the public cloud network security in Modine’s Microsoft Azure landing zone
• Design and implement network security policies and procedures

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor network security events for suspicious activity and investigate potential network security incidents

Security Measures:

• Create, oversee, and test security measures, such as access authentication and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with users to address security concerns

Business Partnering

• Provide periodic review of risk postures to business leadership and all stakeholders
• Facilitate coordination and execution of risk remediation with business stakeholders
