Description:
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
The post holder will achieve their work through the development of working within/contributing to national legislation and statutory and operational guidance; interpreting, applying, and advising on professional standards and principles; utilising a professional and practice development approach to their work; and supporting the development of Health Board strategy and policy. The post holder will demonstrate and role model the Health Board values, aims and objectives in their approach to their work and in managing a small team to ensure that the fullest possible contribution can be made to the Health Board’s strategic and operational plans.
The policy for District Nursing is to have well defined, well led, well managed, responsive, and manageable sized teams that are well supported to deliver at volume universal registered nursing care in the community.
Support and empower Community Clinical Lead Nurses and District Nurse Team Leaders to be an integral part of this policy direction.
The post holder will achieve their work through the development of/working within/contributing to national legislation and statutory and operational guidance; interpreting, applying and advising on professional standards and principles; utilising a professional and practice development approach to their work; and supporting the development of ABUHB strategy and policy.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
